Federal and Ruger introduced the .327 Federal Magnum in 2008 as a stretched, higher-pressure .32 H&R Magnum, promising six shots in revolvers sized for five .38s. It also chambers the whole .32 revolver family down to .32 S&W Long, making it a versatility play. It has held a small but loyal following rather than broad adoption.
