History
Colombia moved its army to a pixelated camouflage in the late 2000s, replacing older woodland dress. The change had a security logic as well as a concealment one, since illegal armed groups wore lookalikes of the previous uniform.
In the field
A competent jungle digital; switching also helped distinguish soldiers from guerrillas wearing copies of the old pattern.
