History
Released by Crye Precision in 2002 out of work on the Army Objective Force Warrior program, designed to blend across many environments rather than dominate one. Passed over in the Army's 2004 UCP decision, it was vindicated in 2010 when the Army bought it as the Afghanistan-theater pattern. It has since been adopted or licensed by the UK, Australia, and SOF units worldwide.
