History
Holland & Holland introduced its belted .375 magnum in 1912, and it became the world's default medium bore for dangerous game. Many African jurisdictions set it as the legal minimum for thick-skinned game, cementing its role as the one-rifle safari answer. Over a century later it remains the standard by which dangerous-game cartridges are judged.
