The Air Force's grey digital tigerstripe, adopted in 2007 as another service-specific answer to the one-uniform question. Its washed-out palette matched few real environments, and airmen deploying to Afghanistan were issued Army patterns instead. The Air Force switched to OCP from 2018 and retired the ABU in 2021.
