History
Canada fielded the arid CADPAT colorway in the early 2000s for Afghanistan, after early rotations deployed in the temperate woodland version. It remains the Canadian arid standard.
In the field
Strong in arid terrain like its temperate sibling in green; procurement lag meant early deployers wore green CADPAT in the desert.
