History
Japan adopted this blotch camouflage family for the Ground Self-Defense Force in the early 1990s, replacing an earlier pattern, and has refined it through later iterations. Restrictive Japanese surplus practice keeps genuine articles scarce outside Japan.
In the field
Green/brown/black blotches on a khaki-green base, tuned for Japan's dense green terrain; reads darker and greener than MultiCam in photos.
