History
Selected out of the Bundeswehr's late-1970s camouflage trials and generally issued from about 1990, the five-color dot pattern is tuned to dark central-European conifer forest. It has influenced patterns from Denmark's M84 to Japan's JGSDF family and enjoys a large surplus following.
In the field
Outstanding in dark European forest; instantly recognizable dots.
