History
Switzerland's Tarnanzug 57 descended from late-1940s European experiments and served the militia army from 1957. The red-brown-dominant scheme was rationalized for alpine rock and undergrowth but reads loud to the human eye. TAZ 90 replaced it in the early 1990s, sending huge quantities into the surplus market.
