History
South Africa adopted the Soldier 2000 pattern in the 1990s as the new SANDF replaced the old formations' uniforms with a single national camouflage. It remains South African issue.
In the field
Good bushveld performance in the same terrain the Rhodesian brushstroke was built for, with a very different construction.
