Nocturn Industries Tanto
Nocturn's earlier lightweight polymer monocular, since replaced by the Talon. Short, chunky body with a single front rotary switch, no battery-tube protruding like a PVS-14, and a slimmer objective ring; offered with standard 40-degree or wide 50-degree objectives. Still common on used Panobridge builds and on older helmets.
Analog night vision — an image-intensifier tube. No screen and no lag, and it works passively with no IR lamp running. This is the kind you can move and shoot under, and it is why it costs what it costs.
