RIX RNV-14
RIX's lightweight PVS-14-pattern monocular using a standard 18mm Gen 2+ tube, about 255 g, with manual gain on the power knob, auto standby and auto-off when flipped up. Same general silhouette as a PVS-14 but with RIX markings and a slimmer body; the low price point is the give-away. Green or white phosphor.
Analog night vision — an image-intensifier tube. No screen and no lag, and it works passively with no IR lamp running. This is the kind you can move and shoot under, and it is why it costs what it costs.
